Abayomi Alvin is a Nigerian actor, model, writer, and businessman. He was born on the 20th of June 1993 and hails from Ekiti State. Abayomi Alvin is a graduate of Sociology and Anthropology, a degree which he bagged at Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife, Osun State.
Abayomi Alvin Career
He already started acting (Unprofessionally) from his primary school days where he took part in School Plays, Church Dramas and Neighbourhood plays. Before taking up acting as a career, Abayomi had tried to different professions. He worked as a Sales representative, managed a saloon, tried music, and modeling before finally going into acting.
In 2010, he started modeling and had his first shoot in 2011. He contested for a state pageant, Mr. Ideal Osun State which he won, and in 2012, he won Mr. Ideal Nigeria.
He went on to shoot for various top designers, shoot commercials for top brands in Nigeria like Big Brother Naija, Fidelity Bank, Orbit gum, Lumos, and many others, and also walked various Runway shows in Nigeria like Music Meets Runway (2013) and ICM Fashion show (2015) to mention a few.
In 2013, Abayomi doubled down on his acting career and took it more seriously as he attended several auditions and in 2014, he finally secured his first movie role in the movie ‘Collateral War‘ which was directed by Iwuanyanwu Chuks and Produced by Chioma Okeke and starred Yvonne Jegede and John Dumelo.
Even tho he was very nervous and stuttered on set in his first role shoot, he has since mastered his craft and went on to feature in several other movies. The game-changer for Alvin which made him rise to the limelight was his role in ‘Jennifer’s Diary‘ where he played the role of Austin. He also makes comedy skits on Instagram.
