Her acting career took off at a very young age and despite having a mother who is a well-known actress, an acting career wasn’t handed to her as she had to sort things out for herself. She went for numerous auditions and in her first year in the University, she finally landed a role in her debut movie titled ‘Complicated’, a movie where veteran actors like Olu Jacobs, Patience Ozokwor, Yemi Black, and Juliet Ibrahim also starred in. She saw the audition notice for aspiring actors between the ages of 18 and 35 on Facebook, she went for it and got her first movie role in Abuja.
Sonia Uche became very famous after starring in the movie “My Boss’ Daughter”. She is also well-known for her role in the movie “Frank’s Wife”. She has acted alongside her mother and also her sister, Chinenye Nnebe, in the same film, some of which are “My Boss’ Daughter” and “Vanity.” The young actress, Sonia Uche stated that her idol in the movie industry is Genevieve Nnaji. Also, she has featured alongside other stars, including Olu Jacobs, Patience Ozokwor, Peter Edochie, Mercy Johnson, and Ken Erics.
