After graduating from the University of Calabar, Blessing secured a job at Transcorp Hotel in Calabar, Cross River State where she worked as a receptionist. After her job as a receptionist, she joined the Nigerian Police Force for three years.

On the 5th of December, 2009, when she was 19 years old, She got married to a man named Lucky at Foundation Faith Church in Port Harcourt, and the guy was 13 years older than her. She revealed that the guy disvirgined her when she was just 15 years old and abused her.
Blessing was a victim of domestic violence, she revealed that he slapped her on their wedding morning, prior to the wedding, and also on the wedding night, two weeks after their wedding, he beat her into a coma.
Two years later, they got divorced. Blessing has two sons, Darel Lucky Okoh and Bryan Dgreat, and has been taking care of the kids since then.

Blessing Okoro became a subject of ridicule online after she tried to pass off someone else’s house as her own and posted photos of the house online.
