Ahmed Abubakar Audi Biography (NSCDC Commandant)

Ahmed Abubakar Audi is a Nigerian law enforcement agent. He hails from Laminga, Nasarawa State, and is the current Commandant General of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC).

Career

On the 18th of February, Ahmed Abubakar Audi was appointed by President Muhammadu Buhari as the Commandant-General of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC).

His appointment came after the retirement of former Commandant-General of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Abdullahi Gana Muhammadu, who had just completed his tenure and had retired.

Ahmed Abubakar Audi emerged as the top best candidate out of those that went through the transparent selection process initiated by the Ministry of Interior through the Board to ensure that the most suitable among the top-ranking officers in the service was appointed to replace the out-going Commandant-General of the NSCDC.
