Mercy Cynthia Ginikachukwu who is popularly known as Ada Jesus is a Nigerian actress, comedienne, and content creator. She hails from Orlu, Imo State and was born on the 19th of February, 1998, and died on the 21st of April, 2021.

Career
Before becoming popular, Ada Jesus used to work as a housekeeper/maid for a retired pilot who paid her N30,000 monthly. After that, she delved into comedy and was a standup comedian. She performed at several occasions/event, then with the advent & popularity of Instagram comedy, she started making comedy skits back in 2018.
She has garnered over 24,000 followers on Instagram and over 90,000 on Facebook. Her comedy videos are in the Igbo Language and she has also worked with other Igbo Instagram comedians like Sir One on One and many others.

In February 2021, Ada Jesus’s health deteriorated as she suffered from a kidney problem. The news was shared online by a friend name Ella Ada on Facebook.
Ella wrote;
Please pray for Ada Jesus, she’s really sick and has a kidney problem, she has been admitted to hospital. Please let’s pray for her Ada nothing will happen to you in Jesus name amen.

Ada Jesus accused Prophet Odumeje of conducting fake miracles and also accused Nollywood actress, Rita Edochie of bringing people to Odumeje for fake miracles acting. Prophet Odumeje went on to lay curses on Ada Jesus and her health deteriorated. Ada Jesus who was down with a Kidney problem and in a bad health state was later brought to Prophet Odumeje’s church to seek forgiveness and Prophet Odumeje & Rita Edochie refused to forgive her.
After many pleas from friends, family, and fans, Rita Edochie forgave Ada Jesus and some days later, Prophet Odumeje also followed suit and forgave her and also gave her family the sum of one million Naira.
Four days after he forgave Ada Jesus, she died at the hospital.

Ada Jesus is a single mother and was formally married to Kingsley Chuks. They got married in April 2019. Their marriage hit rock bottom after the husband accused her of extramarital affairs (See details here).
