Nasty Blaq whose real name is Abisi Emmanuel Ezechukwu is a Nigerian Instagram comedian, content creator, and actor.

He was born on the 23rd of September, 1996, and was born & raised in Lagos, even tho he is an Igbo boy.  He completed his primary and secondary education in Lagos State and not much is known about his family.

Career

Right from his secondary school days, his friends have always been of the opinion that he is very funny as he always gives them a good laugh each time they hang out. The idea of going into comedy didn’t sit well with his parents and they were totally against it but he didn’t allow that to deter him as he was very passionate and quite stubborn as a kid.

He started making comedy skits in 2016 during his spare time and sharing with his friends on social media but he didn’t put in much effort until 2017 when he took it professionally and decided to be very serious with it. Nasty Blaq came into the spotlight in 2018 after a couple of his comedy videos went viral and were shared by many Nigerian celebrities and Instagram bloggers. He has since grown to become one of the hottest Nigerian Instagram comedians and now works with the likes of Sydney Talker, Craze Clown, Broda Shaggi, Okikidft, Pankeeroy, and many others. He currently has over 3.4 million followers on Instagram and over 580,000 followers on Twitter.

Net Worth

Nasty Blaq has an estimated net worth of $175,000. Through brand promotion and ad revenue generated from his online content, Nasty Blaq has been able to amass this wealth.

Controversy

For quite a long time now, Nasty Blaq has continually been attacked by Nigerians on social media that his skits promote sexual harassment and rape, but the attack intensified after he made a skit titled “This Lockdown is Affecting Eyes“, a video where a properly dressed woman appeared as a barely-clothed woman in his eyes and he lured her into his house, locked the door and threw away the key.

After posting the video, he started trending on Twitter but for the wrong reasons as Nigerians attacked him ruthlessly for promoting rape & sexual harassment through his skit. He came out later to say the video wasn’t complete and posted part 2, but Nigerians weren’t pleased as they wrote it off as damage control.
