A 9-year-old orphan girl who was kicked out of the house while it was raining for not selling enough sachet water for her madam has been rescued by an NGO.
On Friday night (March 12), the little girl identified as Esther Samuel was rescued by Basic Rights Counsel Initiative (BRSI), an NGO, after her madam Mrs. Rose kicked her out of the house for not selling enough sachet water even while it was raining.
Her madam who resides in Akpabuyo L.G.A in Calabar cannot be traced currently and even Esther’s relatives cannot be reached or traced.
Basic Rights Counsel Initiative (BRSI) took to Facebook to share the news and ask that anyone with information on how to contact Esther Samuel’s relative come forward.
On the night of Friday of March 2021, a volunteer found a little girl in the rain and homeless. She was brought to the BRCI emergency shelter, upon further investigation it was discovered that she ( Esther Samuel, 9years) was chased out of the house by one Mrs. Rose whose address she cannot trace.
