‘Human rights is key’ – Actor Yomi Fabiyi reacts to Baba Ijesha’s bail release

Yoruba actor and self-acclaimed human rights activist, Yomi Fabiyi has reacted to the news of Baba Ijesha being granted bail.

Recall that Baba Ijesha, whose real name is Olanrewaju James, was caught on CCTV sexually molesting Princess’s underage foster daughter and has been in custody at the State CID, Panti. Ever since his arrest, Yomi Fabiyi has been on social media campaigning for his release and the prosecution of the adults involved in re-enacting the molestation video.

Things took a dramatic turn yesterday May 17, when Baba Ijesha was released on bail at the State Criminal Investigation Department SCID Panti on health grounds.

Baba Ijesha took to Instagram to react to the news. He wrote;

Abuja loun pe bi.

Human Rights is Key. There can NEVER be true JUSTICE if human rights of suspects, complainant violated. Rights which include Fair Hearing and strict adherence to the RULE of LAW.

Do more on Human Rights, then Nigeria will develop and be peaceful
