“I’m not a Nigerian artiste. I don’t make money from Nigeria” Burna Boy says

Burna Boy has declared on Twitter that he is not a Nigerian artist even tho he is Nigerian.

The new declaration came after a friend of Burna Boy (@K_NERS on Twitter) accredited Burna Boy’s success to hard work and a Twitter user reacted, saying that it was Atlantic Records that made him successful and the argument continued as a Davido fan (with the profile name #@ABetterTime) stated that Burna Boy was just an average star back in Nigeria before the Atlantic deal.

@K_NERS defended Burna Boy further and Burna Boy reacted to the Twitter thread, telling him to ignore the “delusional fanbases.”

Burna wrote; Bro. Don’t get worked up. It’s Nigerian Twitter with 2 delusional fanbases, trust me You are not talking to actual people if their handles look like that.
