Imo State House of Assembly majority leader, Uche Ogbuagu impeached

Imo State house of assembly majority leader, Uche Ogbuagu who represents Ikeduru State constituency, has been impeached.

He was impeached on the 4th of March (Thursday) months after he defected to the All Progressives Congress from People’s Democratic Party following the removal of Emeka Ihedioha as Governor of Imo state by the Supreme court.

Ogbuagu was removed by majority vote under tight security, amid a cold war with the house’s deputy speaker, Amarachi Iwuanyanwu.
