“You’re never going to make it as a singer” – Seyi Shay dragged for ridiculing 17-year-old contestant

Nigerian singer, songwriter, and actress, Deborah Oluwaseyi who is popularly known as Seyi Shay is currently being criticized online for writing off a 17-year-old aspiring singer.

Seyi Shay who happens to be one of the judges at the Nigerian Idol, told a 17-year-old boy who had just finished performing, that he isn’t going to make any money as a singer and that he shouldn’t have come for the audition at all. Her remark didn’t sit well with a lot of Nigerians as many are online now trolling her for writing off the young boy.
