Nigerian Musicians That Were Discovered On The Internet

Back in the days, success and breakthrough into the Nigerian music industry weren’t just dependent on your talent nor hard work but by middlemen like the Radio stations, televisions and record labels.

The emergence of the internet was a total game-changer for the music industry as these middlemen weren’t the only determinant of success in the music industry.

The young lad made a video of himself singing the song ‘Oshe’ by DJ Jimmy Jatt featuring Wizkid and tagged a couple of celebrities. Wizkid saw the video and picked interest in him. Wizkid showed the video to Mut4y (Of Legendury Beatz) and told him to help him get the boy and that was how the life of Terri changed.

Right now he is the only person signed on paper to Starboy Entertainment.

Despite having a famous mother who is well known in the Yoruba movie industry, breaking into the music scene wasn’t an easy one for the talented singer as he resorted to working in the bank and making music during his free time.
