Tunde Thomas who is also known by many as Tunde Gentle was a Nigerian banker and an associate director of GDL Nigeria.

He hails from Lagos State and was born on the 11th of August, 1975, and died on the 15th of December, 2020 of a heart attack following his wife’s infidelity which came to the limelight. He was buried on the 30th of December, 2020.

Career

Tunde Thomas was a Nigerian banker who specialized in investment, commercial, corporate, and retail banking. He was an expert in financial advisory, product development, asset management, management, and business development.

Tunde worked as the head of Trade and Finance at Enterprise Bank in 2012 and in 2014, he proceeded to work as the Director of Deals and Origination at Weiji Capitals.

He was appointed as the Chief Operation Officer at GDL Finance, a financial and asset management company, in 2015. He also worked with the now-defunct Oceanic Bank Plc.

He was appointed as an Assistant Director at GDL Nigeria in October 2020.

Education

He has a bachelor’s degree in Economics and MBA which were both obtained from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife.

Personal Life

He was married to Moyo Thomas and “they had two kids”.

On the 15th of December, 2020, Tunde Thomas died of heart failure. After finding out that his wife was having an affair with her boss and MD, Adam Nuru, who is the biological father of their two kids, Tunde suffered a stroke and didn’t make it through.

At the height of the shameful relationship and when the older child was about eight (8) years old, the lady suddenly resigned from FCMB and travelled to the US with the two children, ostensibly on holiday. It was when the school session started in Nigeria and the

known to all men by his gentle and easygoing disposition. Her aim was to get the Green Card and to also get Tunde to be barred from entering the US, so she would not have to confront him to look him in the eye and tell him to his face the evil that she had done to him.
