Abiodun Aleja was a student of Orile Owu Grammar School where he obtained his SSCE certificate in 1983. He is a graduate of Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife.

He was a music producer, movie director, and actor who produced and directed many movies throughout his career.

Abiodun Aleja worked with National Theater Lagos from 1984 to 2007 and Dudu Production from 1990 to 1998.

He is the owner of Compact e Schedulers, a movie production company he started in 2005.
