Adebayo Tijani is a renowned Yoruba Movie actor, director, and producer. He was born on the 24th of March, 1975 in Agbole Alubata, Oyo State, Nigeria.

Education

Adebayo had his primary and secondary school education in Oyo State, Nigeria. He holds a National Diploma in Survey and Geo-Formatics Engineering which he obtained at the Federal School of Survey in Oyo Town, Oyo State.

Career

Adebayo Tijani wasn’t born with a silver spoon and had a very rough beginning before witnessing success in his career. At a point in his life, he lived with his friends Sanyeri and Golugo under the staircase of Golugu’s sister’s apartment. At the time, Golugu’s sister lived with her husband and their 4 kids in a single-room apartment. In 1997, he was able to raise some money and got into shoe making business, he started to thrive in the business gradually and was able to rent a wooden room where they slept. In 2000, tragedy struck and the house got burnt and he had to go look for somewhere else to live.

Adebayo delved into acting and the production of movies after he had served as the President of a Theatre Group back in the early 2000s. He made his movie direction debut in the year 2002 with the movie “Dursinmi” and ever since that time, he has been active and very relevant in the Yoruba movie production business.

He has since directed and produced numerous Yoruba hit movies (See his discography below).

Adebayo Tijani is a happily married man. He got married to Folashade Adebayo in 2012, after they’ve dated for almost three years and they have a child together.

His wife is a lawyer. Adebayo is from a family of bata drummers even tho he himself can’t play drum. In 2007, he lost his father.
