Dieketseng Mnisi is a veteran South African actress well known for playing the role of Nontombi Mantuli Seakamel in the South African sitcom Skeem Saam on the SABC1 program.
Dieketseng Mnisi was born in 1961 in Soweto, South Africa.
Career
She made her acting debut in 2007 in the SABC2 comedy sitcom, Stokvel. She played the role of the pastor’s wife Masechaba Moletsane in the sitcom. She replaced the late Limakatso Manotwane in the role from the 5th season.
Dieketseng Mnisi also played the role of Ma Ntuli in the SABC1 drama series Skeem Saam. She has since starred in numerous other movies (see her discography below).
Dieketseng Mnisi played the role of Nofuka in 2013 in the series eKasi: Our Stories where she was a devil worshipper and sacrificed her daughter to gain spiritual power.
Personal Life
Dieketseng Mnisi was married to South African actor Jabu Nkosi Chirwali. They met on the popular SABC1 sitcom, Emzini Wezinsizwa. After dating for a while they got married in 1983.
After 22 years, the marriage hit rock bottom and they got divorced. Dieketseng Mnisi and Emzini Wezinsizwa have two grown up children. She has since remained single since her divorce.
