Rachel Lobangco popularly known as SiBoom Girl is a Filipino actress, fire dancer, and businesswoman. She was born on the 15th of May, 1969, in Manila, the capital of the Philippines.

Education

Rachel Lobangco graduated from the University of Santo Tomas. She earned a  Bachelor of Arts degree from the institution and majored in Advertising Arts.

Career

Rachel came into the limelight in the year 1988 when she starred in a San Miguel Beer commercial. From the commercial, she got the nickname “SiBoom Girl” because of the Apo Hiking Society’s song in the commercial.

That same year, she made her acting debut and starred in the movie, Dugo ng pusakal where she played the character Cecille. She has since starred in numerous big movies like Kodak, In My Own Hands, Pat. Omar Abdullah: Pulis probinsiya, and many others (see her filmography below).

Rachel is also a fire dancer and a member of the dragon boat racing team in Boracay. She is also a businesswoman and co-owns EP FARM Tagaytay-Beauty and Relaxation Farm. She owns Khun Lek where she makes and sells Thai Desserts.

Rachel Lobangco has kept her love life very private and there is no public information on whether she is or was married. Her father’s name is Rolando Soriano Lobangco and her mother’s name is Elvie Pineda. Rachel has a sister whose name is Lani Lobangco.
