Education
Ajuri attended Government Secondary School in Port Harcourt where he had his Secondary School education.
He is an alumnus of the University of Kansas where he obtained a degree in Political Science. Ajuri also got a second degree in History from the same university, the University of Kansas.
Career
After his studies, he returned to Nigeria and worked for African Independent Television (AIT) News as a reporter. He, later on, worked for Channels Television as a TV presenter, producer, and senior news correspondent.
Ajuri was well known for his investigative show, EAGLE EYE. He has also worked as a Lead Consultant, Public Affairs at the Federal Ministry of Power.
After exiting Channels Television, he was appointed by President Buhari as Senior Special Assistant on Public Affairs. He was well known to be a committed & fierce defender of the Buhari administration.
Ajuri has also written some books. He is the author of Struggle for Nigeria’s Soul, and Buhari: From General to President.
For the 2023 National elections, Ajuri was appointed as the Assistant Principal Spokesperson for the Tinubu-Shettima Presidential Campaign Organization.
On the 31st of July, 2023, he was appointed as Special Adviser on Media Publicity by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
