Andile Ncube is a South African TV host and presenter. He was born on the 4th of October, 1981 in Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa.

Andile is one of South Africa’s biggest and most successful TV hosts.

Education

Andile attended Tshwane University of Technology where he graduated with a degree in Journalism.

A few years later, he decided to change career completely and he enrolled in AFDA where he got a second degree in Film and Drama.

Career

Andile’s media career started after he joined AFDA. He made his debut in the SABC 1 music show, One, Phuti Khomo, Bianca Le Grange, Ntombi Ngcobo Mzolo, and Claire Mawisa. His talent became apparent and it started making way for him. He appeared in the Nokia Around The World Challenge for M-Net and as a host of SABC2’s Vuyani Mzantsi.

Andile loves football so much and had earlier joined Ajax Football Academy but his football career was cut short due to injury. His passion for football led him to become a sports presenter and he hosted Soccerzone and Soccer 411.

Andile hosted the 2014 season of The X Factor South Africa on SABC1, the show took his career to another level and made him stand out among other South African hosts.

Andile also tried music and released songs like Freestyle, I AM Not A DJ, and Song For You.

Personal Life

Andile Ncube was previously married to Ayanda Thabethe. They got married in 2014 but got divorced two years later. They never disclosed the reason for their divorce but at the time, there were rumors that Andile’s infidelity led to the end of the marriage.

Andile moved on and later dated Rosette Mogomotsi, a model. During the relationship, Rosette got pregnant and gave birth to Andile’s daughter, Gabrielle. The relationship was however short-lived and they had a messy breakup with both parties airing their dirty laundry in public. They have since reconciled and are now great co-parents and great friends.

In late 2019, Andile and Sebabatso Mothibi fell in love and started dating. They went public with their relationship in 2020 and in December 2020, they welcomed a son, Anthony. Andile and Sebabatso Mothibi are no longer dating but they are both doing well as co-parents.

Andile has a brother named Sabelo Ncube and a sister named Sisi Shirilele.
