Linus William Ifejika who is popularly known as B-Lord (Bitcoin Lord) is a Nigerian businessman, one of Africa’s biggest Bitcoin vendor.

He was born on the 14th of March, 1998 in Umuji Ebenebe Akwa North, Anambra State, and hails from Anambra State, Nigeria.

Education

He holds a degree in Computer Science which he got from the Anambra State University, Uli.

Career

From a very young age, B Lord has passion for business and hunger for success and at the age of 17, he left his parent’s house in search of greener pasture.

When he was in 300 Level in Anambra State University, he started trading Crypto and even tho it wasn’t easy in the beginning, he kept on pushing and that’s how he got the nickname, B Lord (short form of Bitcoin Lord).

He has since grown and developed/grown different business outside of crptocurrency. Some of his businesses are B-Lord Bitcoin Store, B-Lord gadget store, B-Lord luxury store, B-Lord automobiles, Jetpay.ng, Billpoint.co.

Controversy

On the 31st of August, 2020, B Lord was arrested by the EFCC in his home in Akwa, Anambra State. He was wrongly paraded alongside 14 others accused of internet fraud and three of his cars plus other properties were seized.

A few months later, B Lord sued the EFCC at the Enugu State Federal High Court and 15 months later, in May 2022, he emerged victorious in court in what appeared to be a landmark victory.

He took to legal team & everyone that supported him during the trial for helping him gain victory and he dedicated the legal victory to the Nigerian youths.

He wrote;

I finally defeated and deflated @officialefcc in the Federal High Court. My cars and my properties have been released to me. Never believed at my age I’ll be fighting the federal government. But, I have to fight for what is mine. This is proof that the Nigerian Justice system still works.

He continued;

Personal Life

BLord is a married man, he got married to Uju Linus Francisca (née Ikeoolisa) in 2019 when he was 21-year-old. B-Lord met his wife when he was in the University, when they met she was in 200 Level studying Medicine and he was in 300 Level.

In 2020, they welcomed their first child, a son named Elliot.

In December 2023, they welcome their 2nd child named Alex Somtochukwu.

B Lord’s mother was a businesswoman that dealt with Plastic and his father sold car parts. His parents weren’t rich while growing up but they weren’t extremely poor either.
