His educational journey started at Sunnyside Primary School. Upon completion of his Primary education, he enrolled in Bokgoni Technical High School where he had his Secondary education.

DJ Sumbody’s passion for music consumed his time and energy and didn’t allow him to complete his education at the Tshwane University of Technology.

Career

The early days of DJ Sumbody’s career is one that was filled with passion and sacrifice. He started as a volunteer producer and presenter on a show called Mashaedi on the Engage, a popular youth community radio station in Tshwane.

The year 2018 was his breakthrough year as he released the song ‘Monate Mpolaye’ and the song went on to become a bit hit record in South Africa.

DJ Sumbody continued to push his career to the next level and released the album Larger Than House Volume 1 & 2. On the 6th of December 2019, he released the album ‘Ashi Nthwela’ and the album featured South African superstars like DJ Tira, Busiswa, Cassper Nyovest, Holly Rey, Kwesta, Zakes Bantwini, Leehleza, Londie London and many others.

DJ Sumbody’s source of income wasn’t music alone as he was also a businessman. He and Kagiso Setsetse co-owned Ayepyep Lifestyle.
