Justice Haruna Tsammani is a Nigerian lawyer and judge. He was born on the 23rd of November, 1959, in Gombe State, and hails from Tafawa Balewa Local Government Area, Bauchi State.
Education
In 1982, he obtained his LL.B degree from Ahmadu Bello University. In 1983, he attended Nigerian Law School, Lagos for his BL.
Career
Justice Haruna’s career started in 1983, at the time, he was working as a pupil state counsel in the Bauchi State Ministry of Justice.
Later on, he moved on and joined the Ministry of Justice in Gombe State where he was appointed the Director of Public Prosecutions. With hard work and expertise, he rose through the ranks and was appointed as a judge of the High Court of Gombe on the 17th of September, 1998.
on the 16th of July, 2010, he was elevated to the Court of Appeal and he is currently the longest-serving Justice of the Court of Appeal among the five members of the panel
