Afije Rose Omokhoa who is popularly known as Liquorose is a Nigerian dancer/choreographer, video vixen, actress, and influencer.
She was born on the 31st of March, 1995 in Lagos State and hails from Edo State, Nigeria. She is a member of the 3 girls’ dance crew, GGB (Girls Got Bold). Liquorose is a housemate at the ongoing Big Brother Naija Season 6.
Education
She attended Itire Nursery and Primary school and Del International College, Ijeshatedo, Surulere, Lagos State. She is also an alumnus of the University of Lagos (UNILAG).
Career
Born and raised in Lagos State, the commercial capital of Nigeria, Liquorose had many talents. She could dance very well and could also act. Her rise to fame began in 2012 when she acted in the popular Nigerian TV series, THE JOHNSONS which shows on Africa Magic. She starred in the series from 2012 to 2015.
Liquorose started showing off her dancing skills whenever she got the chance which led to her dancing in some music videos. While showcasing her dancing ability via every social space, she was discovered by Nigerian music video director, Clarence Peters, who made her join forces with E4ma and Ellaley in one of his video shoots. The three of them, E4ma, Liquorose, and Ellaley went ahead to create a dance crew from then called GGB Dance Crew.
The dance crew is one of the best dance crews in Nigeria and they have worked with top African musicians.
Liquorose also starred in the Clarence Peters Short Film HEX where she played the role of Bola.
On the 25th of July, 2021, she was announced as a housemate at the Big Brother Naija Season 6.
