Marie Agyare Wiseborn is a British-Ghanaian lawyer, singer, and speaker. She was born on the 20th of August, 1999, in Ghana to Ghanaian parents.
At an early age, she alongside her family relocated to the United Kingdom. Marie Wiseborn became popular in January 2024 when she got engaged to Nigerian gospel singer, Moses Bliss.
Education
She completed her GCSEs at Archbishop Tenison’s CoFe High School. After that, she enrolled in Wallington County Grammar School, pursuing A-levels in biology, chemistry, and history.
After completing her A-levels, she followed her passion and enrolled at the University of Surrey where she obtained a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree. Marie also completed a Bar Vocational Studies Postgraduate Diploma at the University of Surrey. Marie is a practicing barrister, specialising in criminal law, human rights, and immigration law. She has represented clients in various courts and tribunals, passionately advocating for their rights and interests.
She completed her internship at Birds Solicitors in 2021. Birds Solicitors is a leading criminal law firm known for handling a spectrum of cases, from fraud and money laundering to murder and terrorism.
In May 2022, she undertook a one-month mini-pupillage at Pallant Chambers, a set of barristers renowned for their expertise in family, civil, and criminal law.
Marie is also a gospel singer and songwriter who has released songs like ‘You Are My Strength,’ ‘I Trust You,’ and ‘Psalm 27:14,’. She is also a public speaker and has spoken in platform and forums, such as TEDx, Women in Law and Young Leaders Summit.
