Costa Tsobanoglou who was popularly known as Costa Titch was a South African rapper, songwriter, and dancer. He was born on the 10th of September 1995 in Nelspruit Mpumalanga, South Africa.
He died on the 11th of March, 2023 at the Expo Centre in Nasrec, Johannesburg on stage while performing (Watch the video of his death here).
Career
Prior to becoming a successful rapper, Costa Titch was a dancer at first. The dancing started off as a hobby at first then with time he started to take it seriously and partnered with his best friend, Benny Chill at the age of 15.
After matric, in 2014, Costa relocated to Johannesburg and his dancing career started off professionally. He joined the New Age Steez dance crew and was a team member with Tumi Tladi and Phantom Steeze. His dancing career continued to grow and he participated in the Hip Hop International Dance Competition in which he and his team got the 14th position.
At the same time, Costa’s rap started to gain momentum and he started to take it more seriously. He had the privilege of working with notable rappers like Cassper Nyovest and Costa decided to start rapping full-time and dropped the dancing.
He dropped the song “Activate” and it was a hit record, one that brought the rapper into the limelight. The rapper’s Isizulu lines in his raps made him a trend among traditional music lovers.

Death
He died on the 11th of March, 2023 on stage. Costa Twitch was performing at Expo Centre in Nasrec, Johannesburg on the 11th night and while performing he collapsed on stage but quickly got up and continued his performance. Shortly after that, he collapsed again and this time around he never got back on his feet and died at the spot (watch the video here).
