Career

At the young age of 11, Kashcoming discovered his musical talent and wanted to pursue music. He formed a group with his friend, Demmy Jones who was learning music production then, so they brought their new/untapped talent and worked together.

Unlike many other musicians who faced opposition from parents and other family members, Kashcoming had the support of his family when he decided to pursue a music career. During his early days, he was hugely inspired by Wizkid when Wizkid was still signed to the EME Record label.

His music career officially started in 2019 when he released his debut single ‘Controlla’. He kept going to the studio and studying the music industry so he would know his way around until he met with Jerry Shaffer. Jerry Shaffer then introduced him to Zlatan Ibile and at this time, Kashcoming was still a student at Babcock University.

Kashcoming and Zlatan worked together on the record ‘Fire Fighter’ and it was released in Kashcoming’s final year in the University.

Kashcoming had his first major hit song in 2023 when his song ‘How Low’ became a hit record.
