Balogun Joshua who is popularly known as NBA Geeboy is a Nigerian rapper, singer-songwriter.
He was born on the 4th of March 2002 and hails from Lagos State, Nigeria. Contrary to his claim of residing in Atlanta, NBA Geeboy was born and raised in Lagos, Nigeria where he has lived all his life.
Career
The controversial rapper and self-acclaimed millionaire came into the limelight after he released a video, warning people to stop saying that he looks like Rema or sounds like and the phrase “On Gaad” from the video became his trademark and many people knew him with the tag.
After Rema, he moved on and started trolling Davido, accusing him of stealing his slang “On Gaad”, copying his picture pose. He went on to say that he is way richer than Davido, Wizkid, and Burna Boy and he eventually got the attention of Davido. Davido later replied NBA Geeboy comically by mimicking him and making fun of his videos.
NBA Geeboy has also released a couple of songs like ‘On Gaad’, ‘BOA’, ‘Add Maggi’ and many others. See his discography below. His current manager is Clex Tony Yahweh.
During the END SARS protest in Nigeria, NBA Geeboy was seen among those looting stores during the protest. A video of NBA Geeboy also surfaced on Instablog9ja, where he was sampling his dollar bills and one of the dollar bills flipped and the back was blank, which shows that it is fake.
