Divine Uzama who is professionally known as ZerryDL is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, and rapper.
He was born in 2002 in Edo State and he is the younger brother of Nigerian musician, Shallipopi.
Career
Prior to becoming a full blown musician, Zerry DL was an online comedian. Zerry DL and his brother, Shallipopi alongside some of his friends used to make comedy skits and share on social media but his comedy career never took off.
ZerryDL then started sharing freestyle videos on social media alongside his comedy skits before he eventually abandoned comedy and focused mainly on the music.
In September 2022, ZerryDL released his debut single ‘Grind Freestyle’.
ZerryDL came into the limelight in 2023 after his elder brother, Shallipopi got his first big hit record ‘Elon Musk’. Shallipopi then launched his own record label, Plutomania Records and signed his brother, ZerryDL to the label.
