Bishop Oluwafeyiropo Daniels who is also known as Bishop Feyi Daniels is a Nigerian pastor, author, and the founder of iReign Global Church.

He was born on the 6th of May, 1980 in Gbolade Adebanjo, Opebi, Lagos, Nigeria, and hails from Lagos State.

 

Education

Feyi Daniels studied Accounting at the University of Lagos.

He also holds a Masters of Business Administration from the same University.

Career

Before going into ministry, Feyi Daniels was a business consultant.

In 2006, he answered the divine call and founded iReign Global where he became a full-time pastor.

The church continued to grow and prosper as months go by but his understanding and passion for business led him to go into real estate, media, and education while still pastoring. He founded Evolve Business School and the King’s Academy.

Feyi Daniels is also an author and has written numerous books some of them include Pray Seated, Leading Self and many others.

Personal Life

He is happily married to Awele Feyi-Daniels, who is also his co-pastor at iReign Global.

They have two sons together, Feyi Daniels Jr. and David Feyi-Daniels.

Feyi Daniels and Awele Feyi-Daniels have been married for over a decade now and they reside in Lagos, Nigeria where the headquarters of the church is.

Controversy

Despite being a pastor, Feyi Daniels career has been dented with controversy. In June 2020, he was accused of raping two female church members at Ikota Villa Estate, Lekki, Lagos.

This triggered numerous reactions from Nigerians as some were of the opinion that the pastor was being set up and that someone was out to tarnish his image while some believed that might be guilty and should face the wrath of the law of found guilty. He pleaded innocent and was granted bail by the court.

On the 26th of January, 2024, Justice Rahman Oshodi of the Lagos Sexual Offences and Domestic Violence Court sentenced him to life imprisonment for raping his 23-year-old assistant (name withheld).

He also received a three-year prison term for sexually assaulting a 19-year-old church member. He

He was discharged and acquitted on one count of rape involving another church member (name withheld) and on the charge of attempted rape of a different church member.

He is to serve his sentence at the Kirikiri correctional facility in Lagos.
