Timaya urges artists to still fight for the Grammy and says that our local awards are not credible (video)

Veteran singer and songwriter, Timaya has now reacted to the outcome of the 2024 Grammy Awards where all the Nigerians that were nominated lost and came back without an award.

The ‘Cold Outside’ crooner stated that the Grammy is still a very prestigious award and our artists should still strive to continue bringing the award back home.

When asked about our local awards and if Nigerian artists and the general population should revere them more, Timaya replied that our local awards are not credible and are worse than the Grammys. He continued that the only way for the industry now is forward and they aren’t coming back home.
