Veteran Nigerian actor, Amaechi Muonagor is currently paralyzed and is calling for help from well meaning Nigerians from his hospital bed.
The 61-year-old Nollywood actor who has starred in numerous Nigerian movies revealed that the paralysis was caused by stroke.
According to him, he was on a movie set about seven months ago with some of his colleagues, Patience Ozokwo, Rita Edochie, Emeka Ani, Ebele Okaro, and others and as he was about to enter his car and leave, the stroke happened and it has since been getting worse. He is extremely grateful that the incident didn’t happen when he was driving as that could have led to his death.
Muonagor noted that he was first rushed to a hospital in Nnewi and he was there for two months before he was taken to the teaching hospital, where he has been for three months now. He disclosed that his health predicament has drained him financially and solicited for financial assistance.
This comes just a week after his colleague, Mr Ibu, who is currently hospitalized, appealed to the public for assistance as he battles an ailment that could result in the amputation of a part of his leg.
