Naira Marley, Zlatan or Olamide, who is the king of the street currently?

In the last decade in the music industry, the YBNL boss – Olamide has been referred to by many as the king of the street and it is for obvious reasons.

Olamide has thrilled the streets with hit songs upon hit songs, introduced new dance steps, album release annually and also introduced so many talented acts like Lil Kesh, Adekunle Gold, Chinko Ekun, Lyta, Fireboy DML, and some others into the music industry.

But this year, we’ve experienced a huge change in the music industry. The ‘Soapy’ crooner – Naira Marley and also Zlatan has become the talk of the town. They’ve gotten die-hard fans on the street who are ready to fight anyone who talks bad on their name.

Naira Marley has gotten himself disciples who refer to themselves as ‘Marlians’ and for me, it seems as if Naira Marley is now the king of the street.

  1. I want to sincerely state that OLAMIDE IS IN NO WAY COMPARABLE. Forget about being King of Street or Not. Go and Listen to Olamide’s use of words in his Lyrics (that is if you understand Yoruba Language) It is the best. His pronunciation of English words is perfect. He doesn’t have pronunciation problems like most Yoruba’s do. Naira Marley and Zlatan have speech problem Problem and that is with pronouncing the Letter ”R” in words. I mean they both cannot pronounce the letter ”r” properly and that alone is a turn off for me. I can’t do a day without listening to Olamide Baddosneh. His ”GREENLIGHT is a jam. Right from ”Eniduro” when i was in Primary school i have always wanted to Know more about that guy Called Olamide… Come What May, BADDOSNEH all the way….I Love you OLAMIDEMI
