After the release of the song, the veteran singer was called out by the cultural music group called United Boys Culture of Etche in Rivers State, for copying their song without permission or compensation. The song ‘Dey Your Dey’ was produced by Masterkraft and the music video was directed by Pink with guest appearances from Nedu Wazobia and Sabinus.
